We spent a lovely Sunday morning in the swimming pool that is located on the roof. The room was OK, maybe I was expecting it a bit bigger but was nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent.
Good service, very comfortable bedroom and public rooms.
The location was good, close to everything, but we will stay at the Hotel Melia, which is right next, the next time. We eating at a restaurant (The Guinness, House) in the same building, which was very good. Service, price, mat.For seven-course dinner with a bottle of wine € 30 per person.
To be a five star hotel, we think the hotel does not deserve more than 4 stars. Breakfast was bad you get at least the same on a three stars hotel. It cost 6.5 euros to gain access to the internet per hour.
A lovely hotel in a vibrant city close to bars and restarants
Very bad breakfast. This hotel it a maximun 3 1/2 stars hotel. Next time i go to Melia hotel. its over the street.
Friendly staff Helpful staff . Very god waiter in restaurant who was most helpful and had visited some Scottish whisky distilleries that I ( a resident Scot had not visited) His knowledge of the menu and Scotch Whisky was excellent. Particularly impressed that he knew of Caol Ila!
Good location, nice public areas. Helpful staff.
I would not class this as a 5 star hotel based on our room. It was a very small double room with only sufficient space for one bedside table. The bed was a small standard double. No bathrobes or slippers supplied and the bed was not turned down at night. Would have been far nicer to have a box of tissues in the bathroom and not a small packet of 5.
The staff was friendly and the rooms clean. The bathroom was not luxurious but it was well kept and clean. A big TV for those who are bored. The hotel is well located in the city.
Internet is only available for 6.50 euros per hour. For a hotel of this category, one expects the connection to be there for all and for free...
Thought this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous and couldn't do enough for us. The location was wonderful, the breakfast devine - can't fault it in any way, just wish we'd been there longer!
Excellent location: a few minutes walking from downtown. The rooms were very clean and confortable. The hotel staff was polite and nice. Good price (100 euro), and rich breakfast (buffet). I strongly recommend this hotel
No complaint at all. Everithing was good
excellent central location and convenient for taxi to main train station. hotel very pleasant design/decoration. rooms comfortable.
The staff would do anything to help you, and made you feel very welcome. Absolutely beautiful rooms, and beds were very comfortable.
Access to wireless internet was not free, and was through an external provider, who's rates are quite high. I would have expected a high class establishment like this to be able to include wireless internet free of charge (as even most cheap-as-they-come hostels around the world are able to do this).
Very comfortable rooms, very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast
Everything! Lovely hotel, friendly staff, great rooms in the middle of town, pefect hotel.
The rooms were very warm and it was difficult to cool them, and the staff speaks hardly any English. But...minor details in a really great hotel!
The staff were all very helpful, our room was very comfortable and breakfast was very good.
The restaurant was not open, which was a slight disappointment since it had been recommended.
